This is such and awesome picture because there are 4 generations of the Heim family here! Grandpop, Dad, me, and then Eden. It was so nice to see Grandma and Grandpop for a week so they could spend time with their first little great-grandbaby!

This was at my Mom's 50th birthday party. It was so cute because we had these outfits made for us but Eden had been so interested in the preparty activities that she didn't have a nap...by the time the party rolled around at 6:45 she was so cranky I had to put her to bed and no one got to see her stinkin' cute little outfit!

Life update

Well everyone, I just wanted to start this page because I am horrible at trying to keep up with everyone so I thought this might be easier. Plus several of my friends said it works really well when trying to keep everyone updated on how the baby is doing and stuff. So here it is...my blog! Things are pretty dang hectic around the Parker household with all the things to do. Dave is still currently working in construction building houses and taking on numerous side projects. He is not content unless he has a project to work so it is rather handy to have him around! As for me, I am finishing my last semester at the University of Utah. My last final is December 14th...not that I am looking forward to that or anything! Then I will have a Bachelor of Science in Political Science but I don't really think I will be using it too much in the near future. I am currently working at a financial institution and I think I may stay there and see if I can make a career out of it. It seems interesting enough. And now for the information most of you want to know...all about Eden! Well she was born on March 19, 2007 at 11:55 p.m. I had to have a c-section because the little stinker was just too comfy in there and would not come out. She was 8 lbs. and 19 1/2 inches. I got to spend 8 weeks at home with her before going back to work which I must say was one of the hardest things I have ever done! She is so dang cute but I suppose most people think their child is cute. Some how I ended up with a very light skinned, blue eyed, baldy! Totally opposite from me! Now Eden is 6 months old and time just will not slow down for me. She is wolfing down solid foods (I can't keep the kid full...I think she takes after Dave), knows who her mommy and daddy are, loves to pull my dogs' hair, and is starting to crawl on the floor. It really does seem like just yesterday brought her home from the hospital!
