Our trip

I forgot to post pictures of our trip to Washington the beginning of April. I took Eden with my mom to see some family up in Ellensburg, Washington. It was a great trip if not a little short! We had the opportunity to get a picture of Eden with me, my mom, and Eden's great-great-grandmother. Completely priceless! Eden pretty much stole the show everywhere we went!

Oh forever ago!

Well I pretty much have not updated this thing in months. We have moved 3 times in 4 months so I have had other things to do! I guess the updates in our life are as follows: I finally graduated from the University of Utah on May 2nd, Eden is growing like a weed, Dave started his own construction business, I quit my job to be a stay at home mom, and we are moving AGAIN!!!! So to anybody who wonders why I haven't updated this blog...that's why! Eden turned 1 on March 19 and we had a massive party. Let me emphasize massive! My parents don't believe in doing anything on a small scale so we had a huge party with an amazing birthday cake that was stacked like baby blocks. She started walking around 10 months so by now she runs places...especially in the direction you don't want her to go. Her doctor told me at her 1 year check up that he thinks she will be between 5'10" and 6'! So apparently she got the height genes from her father. Mothers' Day was pretty uneventful except that there was a Jazz basketball game on that was a must watch. I know most moms probably don't want their husbands to watch basketball on Mothers' Day, but not only did I want to watch it, I made Dave take care of Eden so I could see it uninterrupted! The Jazz did beat the Lakers by the way! Well I think that's about all for now so I hope everyone out there is doing well!

Happenings

Well things are moving right along for us. We finally sold our house so we are just bouncing around now until we decide wha to do. I am finishing school on December 14th and coincidentally that is also my last day of work. Dave and I want both think it would be great for me to stay home with Eden so that's what I am going to do. We are just getting ready for the holiday season now so that should be fun!

Little Hula Baby

A friend of mine went to Hawaii and she brought back this cute little outfit for Eden. I thought the coconuts were the dang cutest thing I have ever seen!

Halloween Fun

We dressed Eden up as a giraffe for Halloween and she didn't really like it. We went to a trunk or treat which is where the people in our church fill their car trunks with candy and kids go from car to car in costume to collect candy. Eden looked at everyone with a look of disbelief. I don't think she liked some of the scary costumes! Then we went to Dave's sister's house and went trick or treating with her daughters so Eden got to experience the true Halloween traditions. Maybe next year she will like it more!

Just some new things

Eden started crawling at 7 months and now she has decided to move on to trying to stand and walk...good luck to us trying to keep up with her!

Fun at the Zoo

We went to the zoo on our 3rd anniversary on October 8th. It was really fun because I had never been to Hogle Zoo before so Eden and I were experiencing it for the first time together.
